美滿的婚姻 vol.1 [世界は今…]
今から上海に行ってきます！今回の旅の目玉は、何と言っても親友の結婚式。私が大学に入学して知り合い、Cambridgeでの苦楽を共にした男友達と、私が大学３年のとき、留学生として中国から日本に来ていた女の子。果たしてどのように知り合ったのでしょうか。上海で本人たちに直接インタビューしてこようと思ってます。
I will hit the road to Shanghai in a couple of hours. The primary objective is to attend a wedding ceremony of two of my best friends. The Japanese man and the Chinese lady fell in love each other in the University days, and finally, they get married! How did they get to know each other? I will ask them in Shanghai.
Snow monkeyの森を歩く [残したい日本の風景]
長野県北部の人里離れた山間に、サルが至福の時間を過ごすスポットがあります。志賀高原にほど近い上林温泉から歩くこと約３０分―寒い日には、多くのおさるさまが湯に浸かり、仲良く毛づくろいをする姿を見ることができます。海外からくる人にはsnow monkeyの名で親しまれている彼ら。そのまったりとくつろぐ姿を見ると、日頃の疲れを忘れてホッとする気がします。
Located deep in the forest is a paradyse of snow monkeys. Only a 30-minute walk from Kambayashi spa. near Shiga Kogen ski resort, a number of lovely monkeys enjoy bathing in nature. I cannot but smile with their comfortable-looking face.
表丹沢縦走 塔ノ岳 vol.3 [思い出の名峰]
青空が楽しめたのはほんの一瞬でした。すぐに山にガスがかかり、これ以上の展望は望めそうにありません。これは飲むしかない笑 三ノ塔で大倉にエスケープすることにします。
It was only a minute we could enjoy the clear sky. The mountain was covered with fog and no more blue sky would be expected. Then, ... Let's drink, yey! We changed the initial hiking plan and escape to Okura.
表丹沢縦走 塔ノ岳 vol.2 [思い出の名峰]
この日の天気予報は晴れ後曇り。いいお天気に恵まれるかなと期待して渋沢駅に降り立ったのですが、ここでいきなりのアクシデント。ひとり寝坊でメンバを欠き、おまけにバスが雪のためヤビツ峠手前までの折り返し運転とのこと。行程時間を考えると、当初の縦走予定を変更することになりそうです。ヤビツ峠まで1時間強、バス停付近には雪はなく、実は運転手さんが雪道が苦手だったのでは疑惑浮上！？ともあれ、トボトボと登山口を目指します。
The weather forecast said it would be partially sunny today. I arrived at Shibusawa station on Odakyu line with a hope to enjoy the blue sky. However, an e-mail shocked me that one of the members was still in her bed. This hiking plan was entirely for her... what a pity...
Another bad news came across. The bus from the station would not reach Yabitsu pass due to snow. I could not but change the trekking schedule because of its extra 1.5 hours. In fact, there was no snow left on the road. It seemed the driver was simply not good at driving the icy road.
Anyway, I headed for the mountain.
表丹沢縦走 塔ノ岳 vol.1 [思い出の名峰]
2012年になって初めての登山。今回選んだ目的地は、表丹沢の塔ノ岳。都心からのアクセスがよく、気持ちのよい稜線歩きが楽しめるはず。雨続きの予報ながら、幸運にも土曜日は晴れ。2月に入って、スキー、マラソン、スキー、マラソンときて、いよいよ5週目の週末はハイキング。こんなに遊び呆けてていいのでしょうかｗ
This is my first hike in 2012. The destination this time is Mt.Tounodake in the Tanzawa mountain range. It has an ideal access from the metropolitan Tokyo, and it offers a comfortable trek to us. Saturday will enjoy a clear sky according to weather forecast right in the midst of a rainy week. I hope I could find spring in the icy mountain.

東京マラソン2012 [走る]
ものすごく久しぶりの更新になってしまいました。書き貯めていたものを少しずつアップしていきます。
が、その前に、明日は人生一大イベント。な、なんと、東京マラソン出走の切符を手にしてしまったのです！！秋は紅葉を追って山を歩き、雪が降ると山を滑りと、なーかなか練習に手がつかなかった事実を認めつつ、明日は思い切り楽しんできます！
It passed ages since I updated the blog last time. Plenty of things are there in my memory. It seems I need to backdate the blog a bit.
Why do I resume this blog? Guess what, tomorrow is the day of Tokyo Marathon 2012! I will fully enjoy the metropolitan Tokyo area! The coloured leaves and snow-capped mountains kept me away from running for a while, yet... That would be no problem!
veille de la toussaint! [もう一度味わいたい！]
以前一緒に山を歩いて仲良くなった友人から素敵なお菓子をいただきました。 Veille de la Toussaint!はフランス語でHalloweenの意味。朝晩過ごしやすくなり、秋の訪れが感じられる季節。そういえば街の随所でハロウィングッズを見る気がします。
A friend of mine kindly gave an Halloween gift to me. The cool temperature in the morning lets me feel the arrival of autumn. Such reminds me of the Halloweeen decoration in the City.
